Big Agnes Fly Creek UL3 Tent Review
September 4, 2015
The Big Agnes Fly Creek UL3 tent is the best, most versatile two person tent I’ve ever used (yeah I know it says three person but realistically it’s best for two). I’m not a huge fan of most tents. They are too small, weigh too much and are a pain in the butt to set […]

REI Snow and Sand Tent Anchors Review
January 8, 2014
When you are anchoring a tent or hammock in the snow or sand traditional tent stakes don’t work very well. Enter the REI Snow and Sand Tent Anchor system. 1.4mm Z-Line Slick Dyneema Cord Review
October 22, 2013

MSR Carbon-Core Tent Stake Review
October 19, 2013
The MSR Carbon-Core Tent Stake is advertised as the lightest full strength tent stake on the market. While I don’t know if this is true or not they are super light, weighing just 5.7 g per stake. They are made of a carbon core encased in a metal sheath and topped with a plastic cap. They are fairly wide […]

Mountain Hardware Direkt 2 Tent Review
October 17, 2013
An overall great tent with some small annoyances that are easily overlooked. When I look for a tent there are three main questions that I ask: Will it keep me dry no matter what? How heavy is it? Is it freestanding? This tent has great answers to all 3 of these questions making it my […]
